Role-playing games (RPGs) are a huge genre that is available on all digital platforms (computers, laptops, phones, and tablets). There are numerous games in this genre, such as Elden Ring, Stardew Valley, and The Witcher. Many other games, including FIFA, NBA 2K, NCAA College Football 25, Roblox, and Minecraft, also include game modes with role-playing features.
Many games feature a progression system where players can level up their skills, collect valuable items, and gain new abilities. In most RPGs, players can save their progress without any loss, but there are times, such as during boss fights, when quitting can cause them to lose much of their progress.
Good ways to talk to you kids about RPG games include asking questions:
What level are you?
What ability do you want to unlock next?
What quest are you on?
What is the next boss you are fighting?
